Trinity Medical Imaging is excited to announce delivery of a brand new top-of-the-range GE Discovery 670 Pro SPECT-CT scanner. The scanner was delivered today, and will be installed over the next few weeks. Thanks to the logistics team at GE for ensuring a smooth delivery and for negotiating the corridors of our freshly painted scanning centre without a single scratch or dent.
Thankfully the scanner just about fits in the scanning room, and it is interesting to see all the components that go into this wonderful piece of technology.
This SPECT-CT scanner will allow us to perform advanced hybrid imaging scans that combine the functional information from nuclear medicine with the detailed anatomy from CT scans.
