At Trinity Medical Imaging we are able to provide a number of nuclear medicine examinations to investigate disease of the brain and memory. Nuclear medicine can be used to image the brain using radiopharmaceuticals that bind to certain parts of the brain and can identify areas of dysfunction. Unlike other imaging modalities such as MRI scans or CT scans, nuclear medicine scans give your doctor information about how the brain is functioning, not just the structure of it.
