Insured patients

If your scan is covered by your health insurance, then you should contact your insurer before booking your appointment to request authorisation for your scan. They may have paperwork they need to give you to bring to your appointment, and you may have limits or excesses on your policy that you need to check out first. In some cases, you may need to pay any shortfall if the limit on your policy is exceeded. Please ring us and one of our staff will be able to help you and explain if this is likely to occur. For questions about insurance, have your insurance information handy (group, policy number and authorisation code if you have one).
