Trinity Medical Imaging is excited to announce that we have started our whole body SPECT-CT service. As specialists in hybrid imaging, we believe that we should utilise the most advance imaging techniques to bring the best quality service to our patients. Instead of planar (2D) whole body bone scans for cancer staging, at Trinity medical Imaging we perform whole body SPECT-CT scans. These are three-dimensional scans which improve the detection of sites of cancer spread, improves reporter confidence, and reduces the rate of equivocal and false positive results.
